This diving centre, located on Binibeca beach, promotes and practices sustainable and environmentally responsible diving, and has been awarded the Menorca Biosphere Reserve certification. It also offers babysitting services and a bar-restaurant.

Binibeca Diving actively contributes to the reduction of plastic pollution by being  involved in underwater clean-ups and supporting local NGO’s who raise awareness of keeping the oceans free of plastic.

Blue Islands Diving, located in Cala Galdana, is a diving and boat excursion centre with the aim of offering its clients high quality experiences, with the least possible impact on the environment and where people can enjoy the beauty of the sea, relax and have fun while respecting nature.

Less Plastic

Blue Islands Diving aims to be a plastic-free centre: through the installation of a mineral water fountain available to customers and employees, it aims to reduce single-use plastic. It is involved in underwater and beach clean-up events, awareness-raising through partnerships with local associations and companies and good practices such as collecting waste during dives, highlighting the importance of reducing waste during briefings before diving and respecting the sea and marine life.

Less Plastic

This summer, from the Plastic Free Menorca Alliance we have installed reuse points for beach articles in different establishments and beaches of the island, so that you can reuse beach products such as parasols, balls and other beach games. Join the "Reuse Revolution", either by using these products or by depositing the ones you no longer need so that someone else can use them!

The Menorca Music Festival is the new summer festival of reference in the Balearic Islands, with top national and international artists, will fill Es Mercadal from the 4th to the 12th of August with music and gastronomy.

The Menorca Music Festival eliminates all single-use plastics from the production of the festival such as cups and soft drink containers from the bars, but this year we will also eliminate the production of 13,000 wristbands and 8 tarpaulins.

At Olives Ocean:

No single-use plastic is used.

The picnic food on offer is from a local company and is bought and offered without the use of plastic.

Water bottles and other beverages offered are glass and returnable.

The food containers, glasses, plates and cutlery are reusable and made of stainless steel.

  In addition, during the outings, they collect the plastics they find during the snorkelling and diving experiences. They also offer a talk about the problem of plastics in the sea and the protected seabed in Menorca.

Camí de Cavalls 360º is the tour of Menorca in stages along the GR 223, an ancestral path of 185 km that runs along the Menorcan coast. It is done in self-guided format and in three possible modalities: Hiking, Trail Running and MTB.

With two locations, Mahon and Fornells, this diving centre offers experiences in different types of marine reserves with courses to suit the experienced and the beginner.

By participating in this activity with Merak Diving you can collect plastics from the sea and contribute to making the Marine Reserve of Menorca free of plastic.

The incoming agency Menorca Island Dmc is a local company dedicated to the creation and organisation of events, seminars, incentives and tailor-made trips, only in Menorca, for private clients and mostly companies.  The agency also accompanies company managements in their sustainable development strategy, creating unique travel concepts, solidarity and social commitment.

 They support local associations in awareness-raising activities and cleanups and eliminate plastic bottles to offer water to their clients: Prioritise the use of canteens, provide water dispensers  in hotels where their customers are staying and where there are no water fountains, distribute 100% recyclable plastic water bottles.

This mobile paddle surf centre travels around the island to offer you the best place for your activities. The team of native guides will offer you a range of possibilities, from activities for couples, yoga or stag and hen parties.

Fincas Sunshine is a company dedicated to real estate and property maintenance and cleaning in Menorca.

Less plastic

Fincas Sunshine reduces the use of single-use plastic bottles in the office by 100% by replacing them with a water dispenser using their own refillable bottles. This is the first step of others to come.
